Saúl Ramos, Operations Assistant

As Operations Assistant, Saúl provides essential support in the areas of administration and general operations for the Fund for Nonviolence. Saúl is an important team member, helping FNV to maintain effective operations in the administration of our programs in a manner consistent with our philosophy and goals. His responsibilities include facilitating the processing of grants, including ensuring regulatory and administrative compliance. Saúl provides much of the Spanish translations for the Fund’s website.

Saúl became the Operations Assistant at the Fund for Nonviolence in March of 2008. Prior to joining the foundation he was the Assistant Director for La Manzana Community Resources in Watsonville, working with farmworkers and low-income immigrants. In the past he has worked for Dolores Street Community Services in San Francisco, and the University of California, Berkeley. Saúl is a student of Mexican Folklóric dance and a performer with Esperanza del Valle.
