Megan has committed her life to supporting progressive social change. She currently works as the Senior Manager for Bright Beginnings Early Childhood Development Initiative, where she engages in cross-sector collaboration to improve the lives of young children and their families in Monterey County, California. From 2014-2017, Megan worked at the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation in London as an Evaluation Manager, supporting program managers and grantees working on a range of issues from renewable energy in Mexico to traffic congestion in China with their climate program. Prior to this position, Megan worked as an evaluation policy analyst with the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development based in Paris, France. As a Thomas J. Watson Fellow, Megan traveled to Argentina, Brazil, the Dominican Republic, France, South Africa, and Tanzania investigating how hip-hop art and music are being used to engage youth in community-based development and social change, resulting in the production of a film. Megan has trained in conflict resolution and intercultural communication as well as nonviolence theory and practice. Megan and her partner have two young sons, and currently live in San Jose, California.
