Organizational Effectiveness Fund

Limited to current grantees.
Grant range: $300 to $5,000

Available for a wide range of organizational improvement needs including program and organizational evaluation, board training and development, staff training, fundraising, etc. Emphasis is on building organizational capacity, not simply providing contracted support to do the work. Priority will be given to proposals for organizational reflection and planning.

To Apply: Write a two-page letter describing need, specific proposal for assistance, time frame, and simple budget for the proposal.

Decision will be made within 30 days of receipt of letter.

Special Requirements: Qualifications of consultants involved in technical assistance work funded by Fund for Nonviolence must be provided in application. If requested, we will work with you to find a suitable consultant.


Unique Opportunity Fund

Limited to current grantees
Grant range: $300 to $5,000

Available for unique opportunities which were unknown at the time of the organization’s original grant proposal, for which a small, supplemental grant will enable the grantee to significantly enhance their work. A priority is collaboration, such as convening people working on similar issues to move the overall work forward.

To apply: Contact Program Officer Sadie Reynolds. If appropriate and funds are available, a two page letter describing need, proposed activity, time frame, and simple budget will be requested.

Decision will be made within 30 days of receipt of letter.

Special requirements: Should not be for activities that are recurring budget item
